This project was a rehabilitation of the 14,000 sq. ft. existing Fire Station No. 1, originally was built in 1977. The original building functioned as the main fire station headquarters until 2012. The renovation and addition to the existing station was designed to modernize the antiquated building, improve emergency response services to the area, provide a location for staff training and to accommodate a full-time fire staff component.
The scope included the rehabilitation/installation of a number of services, including main electrical service, power distribution, emergency power distribution, new fire alarm system, communication systems, plumbing revisions, fire protection system additions, new HVAC System, and a new BMS System.
