During Phase 3, our design incorporated a garage expansion and replacement of the fueling system along with associated site works.
The one storey garage expansion was designed to accommodate vehicle maintenance, a wash bay and upgrades to existing mechanical systems to manage the added uses.
The existing underground fueling station was decommissioned and removed from the site. A new above ground tank and pumps were provided to hold 25,000 liters of gasoline and 10,000 liters of diesel fuel. Additionally, high speed pumps were provided to expedite fueling for the road maintenance vehicles.
The associated site works included regrading the existing asphalt to improve site drainage without extensive reworking of grading or adding additional infrastructure.
Working closely with the contractor, KNYMH Inc. was able to expedite all facets of the project to ensure continued operations as well as ensure the station remained operational for the winter season as was requested by the client.
