Affinity Condominiums consists of two separate buildings located along Plains Road East in the developing community of Aldershot. The project is the first six storey wood frame building to be constructed within the City of Burlington.
Incorporated on the ground floor facing Plains Road East is approximately 2,900 sq. ft. of commercial space. This space is facilitated by public street lay-by parking in addition to the site surface commercial/visitor parking available. Parking for residents is located in the single storey underground parkade.
Building amenities include fitness rooms, yoga rooms and meeting rooms on the ground level with a south facing terrace at the sixth floor in each building. Building B has a party room on the ground floor, however, Building A features a divisible party room on the sixth floor, overlooking the escarpment to the North.
The buildings are of combustible construction, using conventional lumber and engineered TJI joists by Weyerhaeuser. Exterior finishes include EIFS, brick, stone and feature Longboard aluminum siding at key architectural elements.
